One in four young people have used the internet in the last 12-months to find advice and support; they are increasingly hesitant to pick up the phone to speak to a stranger and are more inclined to post about their experiences online. Our highly trained Clinical Support Mentors provide essential support, but as a moderator you will be the first port of call for the young people accessing our support community through our website.
Ditch the Label’s mission is to connect individuals together so that they can build community and share powerful advice and support. In order to achieve this, we believe that it is of the utmost importance for us to ensure that our community remains a safe and positive space for all members and maintain an online culture that is inclusive, respectful and judgement free.
As a moderator, you will be on hand to ensure that each member has a safe and positive experience. Working closely with the support team, you will be on hand to welcome new members, help them navigate the community and highlight any issues or concerns to the mentors.
You will be given a full suite of training to help you provide the best and safest moderation.
